The team stands outside their high-tech lab, still reeling from their recent interdimensional adventure. Maya Singh, ever the optimist, tries to put a positive spin on things.
MAYA
(excitedly)
Can you believe it? We actually made contact with another dimension! The possibilities are endless!
JESSE
(skeptical)
Yeah, and we almost got ourselves killed in the process. I’m just glad we’re back home.
ZEPHYR
(calmly)
Home sweet home. But we can’t ignore what happened. We have to understand what that energy was trying to tell us.
DR. THOMPSON
(nodding)
Agreed. The ancient code, the nexus… it’s all connected. I’ve been analyzing the data, and I think I might have a breakthrough.

(steadily)
I think Elliot’s right, Jesse. We have to take the chance. The alternative is being stuck in ignorance forever.
