[Nonet]
Once upon a moonlit sky,
A little girl from Japan,
Sang songs of love and peace,
Beneath the stars above.
In a faraway desert land,
There lived a Sufi poet,
Whose words were sweet as honey,
And his heart full of faith.
Atop the Alps, in Switzerland,
A poet of melancholy,
Found inspiration in the mountains,
Writing songs of longing for home.
In the city of Venice, Italy,
There was a poet of dreams,
Who wrote poetry on water,
Mesmerized by gondoliers.
On the banks of River Ganges,
An Indian sage would recite,
Verses to his students;
Learning from every rhyme.
In the depths of Amazon rainforest,
A native Shaman told tales,
Of nature’s wonders and mystery,
To his children around a fire.
A young African bard stood tall,
Reciting poems to remember
The past and hope for the future;
Our world, one family.
Together they sang in harmony,
Poets of every culture,
Bound by the love for words;
Creating a symphony of unity.
