Cree language self-name

Greetings in Cree can be said as "Nêhiyawêwin" which is also the self-name for the Cree language, meaning "the people's language". In English, this translates to "Cree".

Fun fact: Modern Cree is spoken by over 300,000 people across Canada, and it has a rich tradition of oral storytelling that continues to thrive.
