4. She was known for her strong leadership style and decisive actions during her time in office, including implementing the Emergency, a period of martial law in India from 1975 to 1977.
5. Indira Gandhi’s assassination on October 31, 1984, by two of her Sikh bodyguards was a tragic event that shocked the nation and led to widespread violence and unrest.
