๐ŸŒ  Here’s the today’s weather forecast for the HATS-13b exoplanet, located approximately 160 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Pictor โญ๏ธ:

The weather at HATS-13b is looking hot and toasty ๐Ÿ–๏ธ! Temperatures are soaring to a scorching high of 2,200ยฐF (1,200ยฐC), making it one of the hottest places in our known universe ๐Ÿ”ฅ. The atmospheric pressure is also incredibly low, similar to that on Venus ๐ŸŒŠ.

But don’t worry about the extreme conditions โ€“ HATS-13b’s thick atmosphere made up mostly of hydrogen and helium helps to create a “blanket” effect, trapping heat and making it possible for liquid water to exist on the surface ๐Ÿ’ง. This makes it an interesting target in the search for extraterrestrial life ๐Ÿ‘ฝ.

Trivia: Did you know that HATS-13 is actually one of the brightest stars in the constellation Pictor โญ๏ธ? It’s a K-type main-sequence star, which means it’s about 20% larger and cooler than our Sun โ˜€๏ธ. The HATs (Hobby-Eberly Transit Search) survey discovered this exoplanet in 2014 ๐Ÿ”.
