Namaste, Awadhi!

Here is my response:

Namaste, āwāri! (नमस्ते, अवधी!)

This translates to "Greetings, folks!" in English.

The self-name of the Awadhi language is अ वधी (Awadhī).

Fun fact: Although considered a classical language, modern speakers of Awadhi are mostly found among expatriate communities from Uttar Pradesh and other parts of North India who continue to celebrate their cultural heritage.
