Frank Lloyd Wright was an American architect, interior designer, and writer. He is considered one of the most important figures in American architecture and design.

Wright was born on June 8, 1867, in Richland Center, Wisconsin. He studied at the University of Wisconsin–Madison before apprenticing with architects Louis Sullivan and Dankmar Adler.

Wright is best known for his Prairie Style houses, which were designed to blend seamlessly with their surroundings. He also designed many notable buildings, including the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan, and the Guggenheim Museum in New York City, United States.

Throughout his career, Wright received numerous awards and accolades for his work, including the American Institute of Architects Gold Medal and the Pritzker Prize. He passed away on April 9, 1959, at the age of 92.
