Tulu greeting: ‘ನನ್, ಅಮ್ಮ!’

Okay, here’s a greeting in Tulu!

“ಎಮೈನ್ ನನ್, ಅಮ್ಮ!” (Emin nan, amma!)

This translates to “Hello there, Mom!” (It’s a common, friendly greeting). This is ತುಳು ಬಾಸೆ (tuḷu bāse – Tulu language). Interestingly, Tulu is one of the oldest Dravidian languages and is still primarily spoken in the coastal districts of Karnataka, India.
