Understanding Through Thaminyi

فهمت بالثمينيي انا معك وتفهمها بعد اننا دردنا وروحنا به درد سابق.
English translation: In the Thaminyi language, I understand you and you understand me because our souls have been in pain before.

The modern Dair language, also known as Thaminyi or طهامينيي, has around 10,000 speakers in Yemen. Despite the language being recognized as a national language of Yemen, there is a lack of resources for learning and teaching it. However, efforts are being made by organizations and individuals to preserve and promote the language.

Fun fact: The Dair language has unique phonetic features, such as the use of the letter "ش" to represent the sound "sh" and "ز" to represent "z". Additionally, the language has a rich vocabulary derived from ancient Arabic and South Arabian languages.
