In addition to being a talented tactician, Shaka was also a skilled hunter who used his skill to maintain food security for his people.
Despite Shaka’s achievements, his reign ended in tragedy when he lost a conflict with his younger half-brother Dingane kaSenzangakhona. This led to the downfall of the Zulu kingdom and the start of a new dynasty under Dingane.
