In the Caddo language, a greeting is "Mah-tsi-ha": Welcome or good day in English. The name of the Caddo language is Hasí:nay. A brief fun fact about the modern Caddo language is that it has survived against the odds as a minority language, and today efforts are being made to keep it alive through teaching and preserving its culture among the community.
