In the heart’s garden blooms a rose,
Where whispers of love and longing grow,
Under the moon’s tender silver glow,
A symphony of passion freely flows.
Yet, alas, the night is fleeting fast,
Its velvet cloak will soon depart,
Leaving behind a solitary cast,
Of dreams within the slumbering heart.
The dawn will rise, the rose will wane,
But in memory’s tender keep, love remains.
A quatrain of sorrow and delight,
In the rhythm of Persian night.
