6. Stevenson passed away on December 3, 1894, at the age of 44, in Vailima, Samoa, where he had been living with his family since 1890.
7. Stevenson’s writing has influenced many famous authors, including Ernest Hemingway and J.M. Barrie (the creator of Peter Pan).
