Avestan greeting and language information

Here is a greeting in Avestan:

[Hōmō Spātahe](𐬰𐭂𐬨 𐬞𐭂𐬠)

Translated into English, this means "Good morning" or "Well-being to you".

The language self-name for Avestan is Daēnā (𐬆𐬬𐬈𐬯𐬙𐬆𐬥), which literally means "good speech".

As there are no native speakers of Avestan today, I'll mention that the modern-day Zoroastrian communities who speak languages such as Gujarati and Persian have a strong cultural connection to the Avestan language and its texts.
