In the Adai language, a common greeting is "Ayaya nakíe." Translated to English, this means "How are you?" The language's self-name is Tenánat Hadéyas. A brief fact about the ancient Adai people and their language: Their writing system was called Tuskshell or Bison Washboard, which used shells and carved bison bones for written communication.
