Cook Islands Māori greeting

In Cook Islands Māori, you can say "Tere faataitai" which means "Good morning." The self-name of the language is "Reo Rapa," but it's also known as "Cook Islands Māori" or "Māori Pounamu."

Fun fact: The modern Cook Islands Māori language has around 9,000 speakers and continues to thrive with efforts to preserve and promote its use in everyday life.
