What an honor! A Ghazal is a traditional Middle Eastern form of poetry that originated in Arabia and Persia. It’s known for its intricate structure and mystical themes. Here’s my attempt at writing a Ghazal:
Ghazal: “The Whispering Dunes”
In the whispering dunes, where stars are born
 Moonlight pours like honeyed wine
Seeking solace in the desert’s form
I find myself lost, yet still divine
Rays of sunrise pierce the darkness whole
Dancing shadows cast a mystic role
The wind whispers secrets, old and cold
In the whispering dunes, my heart is sold
In this vast expanse, where spirits roam
I search for answers to life’s unknown
Echoes of the past resound like foam
In the whispering dunes, I am made whole
Radif (Refrain):
Whispering dunes, where secrets sleep
 Listen well, and mysteries creep
Bayt (Stanza):
The crescent moon, a silver blade
Cuts through the darkness, guiding me made
To follow the path, where shadows play
In the whispering dunes, I’ll find my way
Radif:
Whispering dunes, where secrets sleep
 Listen well, and mysteries creep
Bayt:
The desert’s silence is a sacred space
Where hearts can merge with the divine face
I seek solace in this endless expanse
In the whispering dunes, my soul takes flight
Radif:
Whispering dunes, where secrets sleep
 Listen well, and mysteries creep
