Our Russian land is mighty strong
Its heart beats with love for him
He takes our traditions
With great care and tender touch

This gentle stranger sings
Of friendship and warm love
His words bring joy and peace
As he dances in the snow

Russia will always welcome
The poet from afar
We’ll sing songs of friendship
And we’ll have a grand ball

Our hearts will forever beat
