Ivatan greeting: Mahal na uma!, or Hello, dear one!

Here's my response:

"Mahal na uma!" – This is a greeting in the Ivatan language, also known as Chirin nu Ibatan. Translated to English, it means "Hello, dear one!". Interestingly, the Ivatans are known for being skilled seafarers and their love for fishing and sailing.

(Note: The Ivatan language is spoken by the Ivatan people, who are indigenous to the islands of Batanes in the Philippines.)
