In fairest fields where Nature’s hand doth paint,
And gentle brooks their silver notes discourse,
There walks a maiden with celestial gaze,
Her steps as light and airy as the morn.
Amidst the verdant sward, her presence rare,
Doth make the roses blush beneath her feet,
For in her eyes there shines an inner flame
That warms the heart and kindles hope anew.
Yet, though she seems a vision from on high,
Her gentle nature doth not hide away
The depths of sorrow that beset her way.
For every smile with tears unseen must lie,
And through the joy, her spirit’s pain we see.
Thus, in this world of beauty, woe, and light,
She walks alone, but lovelier for all sight.
