Arrernte greeting and language

In the Arrernte language, a greeting could be "Kerrke paketene", which translates to "How are you all?" in English. The language itself is called Arrernte Angkentye. An interesting fact about modern Arrernte people and their language is that they continue their strong cultural heritage, using the language in daily life and passing it down to younger generations through schools and community programs.
