1. Open your PowerBuilder IDE and create a new project by clicking on File -> New -> Project.
2. Select the “PowerBuilder Classic” project template, give it a name, and click OK.
3. In the Object Navigator window, right-click on the new project, select New -> Window, and then select “Window with One Row”.
4. Double-click on your newly created window to open it in the PowerBuilder form editor.
5. Add a label control to the window by clicking on Insert -> Label from the toolbar or by pressing Ctrl+L.
6. Right-click on the label and select Properties from the context menu. Set the Text property to “Hello World!” and click OK.
7. Save your project by clicking on File -> Save or pressing Ctrl+S.
8. Run your application by clicking on Run -> Run or by pressing F5. Your window with the “Hello World!” label should now appear.
9. Close the application when you’re done and save your changes if prompted.
Congratulations! You have successfully written “Hello World!” in a PowerBuilder – 4GL GUI application generator from Sybase programming language.
