Comments Off on Senryu

Here is a Senryu I came up with:
Snowflakes gently fall
Lonely heart’s bitter tea cold
Winter’s silent wall
In traditional Senryu style, this poem consists of three lines with a syllable count of 5-7-5. It also captures a moment in time and expresses a feeling or mood, rather than telling a story like Haiku typically do.
