– 1 tbsp active dry yeast

– 1 tbsp sugar
– 1 cup warm water (about 110ยฐF/45ยฐC)
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– 3/4 cup tomato sauce
– 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
– Your choice of toppings (e.g. pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, olives, etc.)
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar. Stir well.
2. Add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients, and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it has doubled in size.
4. Preheat your oven to 450ยฐF (230ยฐC).
5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to form a round shape that fits your pizza pan or baking sheet.
6. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
7. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
8. Add your choice of toppings on top of the cheese.
9. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
10. Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice it into pieces, and serve hot. Enjoy!
