JESSE

ZEPHYR
(skeptical)
The butterfly effect, folks. We’re worried about the wrong things.

As the team works on stabilizing the anomaly, strange visions and auditory hallucinations start occurring.
MAYA
(confused)
What’s happening? Is this some kind of side effect?
ZEPHYR
(serious)
I think it’s connected to the anomaly. We need to focus.
CUT TO:
INT. RESEARCH FACILITY – LABORATORY – DAY
The team works together, trying to understand and stabilize the anomaly. Sweat drips from their faces as they concentrate.
MAYA
(firmly)
We can do this. Together, we can fix this.
ELLIOT
(encouragingly)
That’s right, Maya. We’re a team.
CUT TO:
EXT. RESEARCH FACILITY – DAY
The team finally succeeds in stabilizing the anomaly. Exhausted but relieved, they look at each other with a sense of accomplishment.
MAYA
(proudly)
We did it. We fixed it.
ELLIOT
(smiling)
Time to recharge and get ready for what’s next.
ZEPHYR
(sarcastically)
Oh joy. More dimension-hopping adventures.
JESSE
(laughing)
You know Zephyr, I think we make a pretty good team.
FADE TO BLACK.
