
1. Open Scratch on your computer or device.
2. Click on “New Project” to create a new Scratch project.
3. On the left-hand side, click on the “Sprite” tab and select the “Sprite 1” sprite if it’s not already selected.
4. Click on the “Looks” tab in the main toolbar at the top of the screen.
5. Drag the block labeled “Say something” onto your project stage.
6. Double-click on the “Say something” block to open the text editor.
7. Type “Hello World!” into the text editor.
8. Click the green flag icon in the top left corner of the Scratch window to run your program.
9. Your sprite will now say “Hello World!” when you run your program.
10. If you’re happy with your program, click on the orange “Save” button at the bottom right corner of the Scratch window to save it.
