In gardens fair and verdant green,
Where fragrant flowers do bloom,
I walk with thee, my love serene,
And breathe the sweetest perfume.
Thine eyes like stars that twinkle bright,
Shine in the moon’s soft silver light;
Thy lips, as red as roses dight,
Invite me to a sweet delight.
Oh, let us dwell in this blissful place,
Where love and nature intertwine;
Let passions warm our hearts to grace,
And make our souls entwined.
For in thy arms, my love, I find,
A haven from life’s stormy sea;
With thee by my side, I am blind
To all that makes me melancholy.
So let us cherish every moment,
As fleeting as a summer’s day;
For in this garden, we have won
Eternal love, come what may.
