Cinquains often capture a single moment, thought or feeling in five lines. They consist of one word line, two words, three words, four words and finally back to one word again. Here’s an example:
Falling leaves
Autumn golden hues
Whisper softly
Nature’s beauty
Transient time
Remember to keep the theme simple and focus on a single aspect of your subject, be it nature, human emotions or any other topic that inspires you.
