In Grecian gardens of antiquity,
Nymphs danced under olive trees’ mighty sway;
Eternal echoes of ancient reveries;
Rhyming verses that whispered away.
Each sonnet was graced with thee, Greece,
Majestic muses bestowing their grace.
Tales spun in golden tongues, full of peace;
Yielding stories we’ve heard with great awe and faith.
Artistic souls did sing to the celestial sky,
Their wisdom, knowledge, forever untied.
Greek letters were the first words ever to pry,
Opening doors to language, unified.
Nurturing minds in ancient halls of lore,
Empowered citizens in wisdom, enlightened and free.
