He is best known for his work “The Vocation of Man” which argued that individuals should strive to fulfill their duties in life, 3. Fichte’s philosophy was based on the concept of self-consciousness and the idea that each person has a unique identity that must be preserved and developed, 4. He is also remembered for his “Addresses to the German Nation” which called for unity and progress among the people of Germany.
