Dire Wolf

Did you know that 🐾 the Dire Wolf (Canis dirus) was an extinct species of wolf, almost twice the size of a modern gray wolf? Standing up to 3 feet tall at the shoulder and weighing around 120-180 lbs., these fearsome hunters went extinct about 13,000 years ago. 🐾
