Akkadian Language and Hello, my friend!

Hello, my friend! In Akkadian, I would say "shukran" which means thank you in English. The Akkadian language is named after the ancient Mesopotamian city of Akkad and was spoken by the Akkadians, an ancient people who were once one of the most powerful civilizations in the world. Fun fact: Akkadian was the first written language to use a cuneiform script, which is now considered one of the earliest forms of writing.
