This is how the CyberRealisticXL image generation model “sees” the cover for “The Comfort of Strangers” by Ian McEwan.

The book was initially titled “The Darkest Time” and was changed before publication. It features a character named ‘Martin’, who is a direct reference to Martin Amis, a friend of McEwan’s. The novel was inspired by an event in McEwan’s life where he lost his suitcase containing all his clothes while traveling in Italy.
