1. He was a scholar who studied at Oxford University and Cambridge University.
2. He translated the Bible into English, making it accessible to common people rather than just the elite.
3. He was persecuted for his work and imprisoned in the Tower of London, but he continued to translate and publish.
4. Tyndale’s translation of the Bible was the first to be printed entirely in English and became known as “The Great Bible.”
5. His translations were banned by the Church of England, but they remained popular among common people.
